1. Re-read Matthew 28:16-20. What thoughts and questions come to mind as you read?
2. How does viewing yourself as part of an unbroken line of faith—stretching from the apostles to you today—change the way you look at your everyday life?
3. In the message, Sam shared a frustrating drive-thru moment that showed how easy it is to live with a gap between our beliefs and our actual reactions. Where do you find that gap most often in your own life?
4. Look back at the parables of lostness from Luke 15 (lost sheep, coin, and sons). Which of those three postures—noticing, valuing, or welcoming—do you find hardest to maintain with the people around you?
